Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

“The Christian idea of marriage is based on Christ’s words that a man and wife are to be regarded as a single organism – for that is what the words “one flesh” would be in modern English. And Christians believe that when He said this, He was not expressing a sentiment but stating a fact, just as one is stating a fact when one says that a lock and its key are one mechanism, or that a violin and a bow are one musical instrument. The inventor of the human machine was telling us that its two halves, the male and the female, were made to be combined together in pairs, not simply on the sexual level, but totally combined.” C. S. ANIMAL MAGNETISM

In physics and in nature, opposites always attract. Just like a magnet, opposite poles attract and like poles repel. One of the greatest examples of this is our earth. Our whole world is a magnet! That’s why the North and South Poles are at opposite ends of the globe and not at the same end. This creates the earth’s magnetic field, which protects us from the sun’s radiation. Life would not be possible on earth if it were not for these opposite poles.

PEOPLE MAGNETISM

Male and female are opposite gender poles, which is why they are naturally attracted to each other. Two like poles can only stay together if the natural repelling is overcome by a third force which is greater, such as someone forcing them to unite with brute force. With homosexuality, the third force that breaks the natural repelling is deception. This is often a lie born out of, among other things, broken sexual conditioning as a result of abuse at a young age, dysfunctional family role modeling and, in the case of gay men, lack of a father figure.

THE GREAT LIE

The great lie of homosexuality is “that is who I am, I was born this way.” But the so-called ‘gay gene’ has been proven not to exist. All the research on homosexuality has been selectively proclaimed through the media in carefully crafted form in order to shape public opinion, and therefore public policy, in predictable ways. The research itself means almost nothing.

People are not born gay. Homosexual behavior is a choice. The claim that homosexuality is genetic just excuses people from taking responsibility for their actions. People don’t realize that by blaming everything on their genes, they are giving away their God-given right of free choice to determine their own futures. Sin is a choice that ultimately leads to death. If we chose to live by God’s Word, we insure the best out of life.

THE CORNERSTONE

Since the beginning of humanity, in every culture and in every religion, marriage has been the glue that has held families and society together. In every generation, without exception until now, marriage has always been between a man and a woman. Even in polygamous societies, it is always between opposite sexes.

The Same-Sex Marriage debate is not about whether gays and lesbians are nice people or good citizens. Some are, some aren’t, just like heterosexuals. Or whether gays and lesbians can form loving relationships. Of course they can. Or whether gays and lesbians can be loving parents. Or whether homosexuals should be treated with respect and dignity. Of course, every member of the human race should be treated with respect and dignity.

MOMMY AND MOMMY

However, the main purpose of marriage to ensure the future of our species by providing the best environment for children to prosper. When Rosie O’Donnell’s son Parker, age 6, asked her, “Mommy, why can’t I have a daddy?” Rosie’s response was, “Because I’m the kind of mommy who wants another mommy” (ABC TV’s “Primetime Live”). Unfortunately, gay marriage seems to be mostly about gays - not children! It's just the kind of thing we might expect from the 'me' generation.

Every day, millions of homosexual acts take place around the world, but not one will produce a child. Just one union between a husband and a wife will produce the miracle of a child. Homosexuality does not and cannot produce life. Our generation is the first in history to tamper with the cornerstone of all human societies. If marriage is redefined to include other combinations besides male and female, then moving that institution means everything else in society must move. If you want to destroy something, one way of doing that is to first redefine it.

THE GARDEN STATE

New Jersey is the Garden State, but it is also a gateway state (e.g. most of the freight that comes into America comes in through the Port of NJ and NY). If gay marriage is made legal here, it’s only a matter of time before it will be legal all over the United States. What that means is that there will be no future for America. History testifies that all civilizations that embrace homosexuality disappear from human history (i.e. the Greeks and the Romans).

First NJ Night to Honor Israel (NTHI) an Overwhelming Success - Amazement and surprise were obvious on the face of newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to New York, Asaf Shariv, at his first-ever address to an American audience, which happened to be over 1,100 evangelical Christians and Jews at New Jersey's inaugural Night to Honor Israel on Sunday, September 16th.

Overwhelmed by the many standing ovations during his short speech, Shariv was joined by many other Jews and Christians from New Jersey who wanted to show their solidarity for the Jewish nation, which is a matchbox on a football field in terms of comparing its size with the total territory of the surrounding nations.

This event was hosted by The Harvest Training Center in Cranford, NJ and was organized by a steering committee representing such organizations as Christians United for Israel, Eagles Wings Ministries, Christ Church Howell, NJ, The Church of Grace and Peace, Christian Friends of Israel and Firepower Ministries International.

Staunch Israeli supporter, Robert Stearns of Eagles Wings Ministries, was one of several speakers who gave impassioned appeals for the United States government and the church not to waver with their support for the only true democracy in the Middle East.

The first Night to Honor Israel in New Jersey followed on the heels of a National Night to Honor Israel held in Washington, D. C. recently, which attracted some 6 to 7 thousand attendees from all over America and many different nations, sending a clear message to our government that the evangelical church stands with Israel. One quarter of all the Jews live in the northeast of America.

FaithNet USA Launched in New Jersey - After many months of preparation, a new network of ministers, ministries and churches was launched in Toms River, NJ. FaithNet USA is committed to seeing restoration, reformation and transformation in the church and our culture, through the building of significant relationships, developing effective communication, facilitating leadership development and resourcing Kingdom-minded ministers/ministries for the ultimate purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God on the earth.
